  1. Awwwards

First up is a well-known source of inspiration for frontend developers everywhere. Awwwards highlights the best of the best when it comes to web design, and their collections page has inspiration for every type of element you could want on your site.

2. Lapa

Lapa is similar to Awwwards but specifically targeted to landing pages. If you want your site to make a strong first impression, this is a great place to find ideas.

3. Muzli

Special shoutout to this little tool that’s been a great source of inspiration to me, even when I’m not looking for it. Muzli is a Chrome extension that displays web design articles & projects every time you open a new tab. It also updates daily so the content you’re seeing is always fresh!

4. Dribbble

Another one that’s well known (for a reason). Browsing the Shots page on Dribbble is a great way to see the latest trends in web design and possibly even connect with developers who inspire you.

5. Pinterest

This one’s not specifically catered to web design but I somehow spend the most time on it. Pinterest is a great place to find inspiration for the overall aesthetic of your website. Graphic design concepts, posters, branding — all are great sources of inspiration and are typically what I look to when first starting a new project. If you don’t know where to start here’s my personal inspiration board.
